Hello everyone! I'm putting together a short album of ambient music. It's going to be about 6-8 tracks long and I will be putting it as a free download or purchase on bandcamp as an experiment

Here's the first track! I will be trying to put this together in a month. Thanks for listening!

Oh... wow, these soundscapes.

You really sound like an established video game soundtrack composer in this.
I am envisioning myself fighting foreign entities on an interstellar or perhaps lunar base in an MMO (think La Tale / Maplestory). Everything is right for me in this track

That being said, I'm officially hyped for the album.

I actually had RPGs in mind when playing on the piano. Guess it came through when I sequenced it too lol!

Jesus, transitioning from the piano into the 8-bit sounding stuff is awesome.

Reminds me a little of the Terraria soundtrack. Brilliant stuff.

This was great. I really could see this in a great indie role playing game or adventure games like Cave Story and Terraria.

I don't think you need the drums to be honest (or at least that heavy, maybe a 3 pole LP would help?), I think it gets in the way and you can still feel the groove underneath the track.

A 3 pole low pass? LOL I'm not sure what the LP stands for

It's much less powerful than what you write, but still, it's got a similar feel.

The last track! It's called The Launch. Recorded with the imagery of a man on board a shuttle as it's about to blast off... And the count down begins. The mini album is basically complete. I will do a once over everything and put on some final touches. There will also be a guest on the album "Helix Eternal." In future iterations of this project, I'd like to invite other musicians as well

Oh my god, those vocal stutters on The Launch at the climax are godly. I'm in love with that track.

I have no idea how you do it but for me your songs portray a vast amount of imagery and basically tell a story / show a scene. It's almost more than just music.

Yes I definitely will! Once again, I'm going to make the album free just or you can help support my music

I may even put it on iTunes/Amazon just to get my feet wet. I really don't know anything about digital distribution and I want to make sure I'm ready when we're done recording Undercover Apple's first EP.

I recorded a line "More than myself" for a song called The Door Maker:

The song is about a man who is obsessed with making doors because he thinks it'll give him more opportunities.

I still have a lot of a work to do on this track but I took the vocal sample and threw it into melodyne and forced everything I sang into C. Once in ReNoise, I chopped up the vocals into 4 distinct samples and made them loop different. Two had a ping pong loop and the others had a stutter type with forward release.

Hey everyone! Just want to say thanks for the support and listening!

The Bit Bit Orunge mini-album "Orbit" will be released this SUNDAY April 15th

It includes 4 tracks by myself and 1 guest track by Helix Eternal.

- 5th Season
- Jupita
- Waltz of Despina
- The Launch
- Reckless Divinity

It will be a FREE download from Bandcamp and if you feel inclined you may actually purchase it (set your own price). Any support will go towards mastering and physical production of Undercover Apple's debut EP "Across the Ocean" which I'm aiming for a summer release. Also, I've touched up the tracks quite a bit and changed a few things around for some of it. Most of the work will be familiar though but they will sound a bit tighter than what I've shared on SoundCloud.

Bit Bit Orunge has ventured into outer space. Now I'm going to take a dive into the ocean. Not literally, but the next BBO album will be tracks about the ocean.

I plan to bring on more guest artists this time around!

If you're interested in being featured on the next album, please send me a sample track (1 min long) of what your ocean style track might be like and I will look over it with Helix and see if it fits well with what we're aiming for

I will begin working on new Bit Bit Orunge tracks next month and I want to have everything ready for release by Fall.

I'm planning for 10 tracks on the Ocean project: 4 of mine, 2 of helix, and 4 extra slots which can be filled by some of the artists here. Cheers!

I have finished a song for your Oceanic album. How (what format) would you like to receive the song? .wav i presume

All done. Took a long time with the individual mixing of each channel and then finishing of the mix. Sounds really clean
