Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
Just didn't want the only opinion seen to be mid 11 xD Not that I -truly- care whether or not it gets moved, but I didn't want other people to be influenced by only seeing one opinion.

Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
My two cents: NaiNai isn't a 12. The green is the only thing stopping me from bettering my score, possibly to SDG.

Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
You know I was on both sides of the spectrum here with Nai Nai.
My final conclusion is that it is in fact an 11. The only thing here, is the ending rolls. That's the basic only hard part minus the triples inside of jumps. Other than that this file is pretty straightforward in it's patterns. Mid FMO sounds about right. Plus look at the higher FMO's. Piano Etude Gymnastics is much harder then this file haha. Just sayin (personal subjective standpoint) |

Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
I vote switch the Revo's, make the v2 public and stuff the other POS into a corner to never be played plz

Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
The green notes make NaiNai FGO worthy. It's hard to distinguish the jumps haha.
I'm sure when the event is over, we'll get a better idea of what the difficulty should be. Right now, we can't really tell haha. EDIT: It seems like an FMO to me though. Opinion though. |

Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
I do wish people would stop abusing fast (14)(34) transitions in FMO+ speed songs. I really find that pattern to be not fun at all...

Also, I told jimi that NaiNai felt like a fmo, not a fgo over a week ago. His opinion is that it has the speed to be a fgo, not certain what his opinion on the patterns is. Suppose someone can bring this up in the difficulty subforum once it goes back to regular colours on sunday night.

Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
I tried playing the files, color gimmick is making these a pain to play so I'll give them a serious play later to get a better judgement of them.

Played like 3 of them so far, and they are all really nice :3 I didn't even notice the arrows were all green until halfway into the song rofl. Waiting for Crystallize.

Re: New Songs: St. Patrick's Day special release!
Gruntilda's Lair- Fun File, but because of the jacks it should be a low 7.
Revo Etude v2- Another fun file, it almost meets the requirements of an 11 but should stay as a really high 10. Entry Of The Gladiators, Op.68- I loved this song and file. It feels like a mid-8. Electric Daisy Violin- This is a pretty fun and challenging file, well worth the difficulty. NaiNai69- Love the song (DJ Sharpnel is awesome) and the file, well deserving of being a 12.
