Actually, most likely scenario imo is someone else played on the account.

I was originally going to make this a much lengthier post but I'm assuming Tsuga's gonna be posting in this thread awfully soon, so I don't wanna play the blatant blame game. Though I have my doubts that this was just a 'massive skill boost' of some sort.

It's already been brought up before, but difficulty spike awkwardness > speed.

Halcyon has weird-ass one handed transitions which Mourning the Lost doesn't have except for a few short one-handed 16th trills.

This is also evident in Crowdpleaser and Eclipse, where even though Eclipse has a lot of speed oriented control aspects, rank 10 is 4 goods while on Crowdpleaser 6 goods is rank 10. Crowdpleaser would be a mess if overlay wasn't allowed.
