there's an arcade here in vegas that hosts bemani tournaments with multiple divisions (ie ddr has light-standard and standard-heavy)

but I was mostly making a joke

The way I see it, if someone is getting scores that are far distanced (high or low) from the rest of the players in their division they should get bumped, so I agree with Clipso's bump and I agree with xMUSICxMASTERx's bump. If I were to get a score like 31-0-0-13 on Almost There *cough* I would get bumped :P

I was definitely borderline D5/D6 when the tourney started, based on my levelranks (at the time), the placement was fine.
I took a long break from FFR/SM when FFR went down, and only returned about a month before the tourney started. I found out about the standalones and just went on my merry way, AAAing all the difficulty 1-9 songs, and most of the 10s. I didn't really get around to the FMO/FGO songs until the tourney started. I had no idea I was capable of the kind of scores I've been getting. I guess the standalone made a huge difference for me.
I wasn't sandbagging at all, sorry if anyone thought I was.

Good luck to everyone in D5, hopefully I can hold my own in D6 as well as you all think I can.

I like Amy. And I'm all for her winning. But I think a bump is probably right. Like findarian said, she plays TS as well and has scores most likely D2 worthy on FFR.

/proof I don't play favorites on division placements.

Problem is I can't place people in an FFR tourney based on another site. The skill may not translate back and forth between the two sites. For some people it does but not everyone.

I found TS to be way easier than FFR, and as you can see I've barely been playing it because i had to get a new laptop and can't even do half as good as i used to be able to do. I would be fine with it if I was still on my old laptop >.>
