Not complainin though, I think it's better not knowing anyway. More exciting not knowing who is winning or getting voted for. The only thing I'd support in terms of that would be knowing who was nominated for the categories, not how much they've been nominated. ;P But even then I wouldn't press it, I'm happy with it as is now. The form is beautiful.

I can say I'm voting someone for a category and then choose someone else when I actually vote.

If the votes were public, they would be absolutely set in stone and people would base their votes off that instead.

Pretty sure you'll find that by the end of the voting process you'll have like 16 way ties in tons of categories with each person having 1 vote. The influence is sorta needed.

With that statement I'll repost this, I think it's a valid solution.

A list of the people that have been nominated for each category, not how many times they've been voted for.

That way, you don't have to deal with people thinking "ooooo so and so is winning I'm going to vote for them" but you can still think "hey, that person was nominated with those others, I think they deserve it most".

Yeah, then it'll be up to the voter as to whether or not they really want to add to a potential N-way tie
