Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
In my opinion, changing the theme of your computer to Windows Classic works the best. I've found that does the trick for me.

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
It's built to, yes, but not always perfectly. I'd also suggest not running other computer processes that are also using your connection, for instance uploads/downloads/streaming/etc. That causes me to lag usually, with tinychat being an exception for some reason.

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
Gamebooster diverts the CPU and RAM usage of programs/processes to programs that are on your whitelist, which is generally any game in your "box". That doesn't mean keeping-- for example-- Firefox up will do nothing to harm your PA. It takes up RAM/CPU just by even staying on your process list.
tl;dr what I am saying is CLOSE ANYTHING YOU DON'T NEED. lol justin typed this faster than I could, but w/e |

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
Is the division placement based solely on achievements or is total rank also put into account?
My total rank is absolutely pathetic for nearly 5 years but I've seen some major skill boosting over the past month or so.

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are closed!
They'll go by stats not average or overall rank. Those aren't really accurate representations of skill really.

YES I'M NO LONGER LAGGING. Thanks guys for that advice on the last few pages. Just went back to basics and trimmed off the shitty transparency and shit on Windows 7.
Now to experience what FFR is meant to be like \o/ |
