It's minijacks and color theory mostly. I understand why they're there, but I feel like they're kinda ruining the flow for me.

Color theory: I kinda don't see the need for the 192nds, but you maybe see something I don't... I dunno I'd have to see the chart better, but eh.

The 192nds are purely for sync. Yes it's a little hard to read, but I take that over being offsync any day lol. But yeah that's a valid complaint, we could have used some BPM changes (the file has none) because it kind of is a shitstorm of color as it is now. Anyway this file was made in like late 2007, before color theory was an idea lol
Anyway I don't take it personally I just want to know what's wrong in case I ever step a song like this again, to know what to do better.
About the song, originally this was going to be an FFR submission and I figured, people who didn't like rap just wouldn't play it and that's that. It is kind of mean to force a rap file in a tournament on a community that, broadly speaking, doesn't have very many rap fans... Oh well.

Fun fact: the minijacks at the end of the intro and at the end of the song were originally one HUGE like 12-measures long up jack. AJ made me change that... in hindsight, it's a good thing he did haha

Blunt yes, correct, maybe not... I'm trying to get a little better with being less rash with things. But sometimes there are things I see in charts that astound me with how... Poor, the choice seemed. (Ala: "What the **** this is retarded" ect... Famous quotes of Middie h8 here.)

(An example of this: Camel. I feel the way you charted it is harsh, and I think it'd have been much better suited as a simpler file. I won't say you don't know how to step a chart or something, I just see things and it doesn't always click with me why you did them.)

Heavy: DF Spon Con chart. Very difficult, but passable in Stepmania if you can get past the trills.
Oni: Original chart minus the truly dumb shit. Still very NVLM edit worthy. Consists mostly of 240bpm jumpjacks and 32nd stream. I dare people to post scores on this- it's theoretically passable and I'm sure crazy people can manage it... but I'd honestly be impressed with anyone who can pass this.

Loled at how bad that spot in crimson crescent is stepped. Those jump jacks are really stupid rebound. If a 1 second segment of the file is 10 times harder than the rest it should be a red flag that something isn't stepped right.



The whole file is about a 9 difficulty until those jacks which are something you might put in a 12. Horrible way to ruin a decent file.

Those double jacks legitimately went to the file. I made it hard for the purpose of it being a tournament song.

The minijacks were fine as they are and same with the double jacks. Only thing I did was make the last double jacks more challenging to hit which is why you guys are saying that it was a "dumb" idea. You can not expect every pattern to be easy to hit.
