What's the most impressive feat of DDRship you've ever seen? - Page 7

anyone ever see a mode where the machine integrates the two steping places? its basically like playing on both of the pads except the steps usually just go from one pad to the next, anyways...ive seen a guy that memorized a whole song so he started playing with his hands and knees as well. anyways...i saw another guy playing reverse while facing the audience and also some other people who AAA'd Max300..its funny cause i always see these things at the same mall.

lolz Actually I played in the arade at a Theater and amazingly enough I was heavy and 10 at the time and amazingly enough there was about 40 peeps who came out of Hero and after all the japanese chicks finished there light games I came up and did Tsugaru, some other japanese rock song, and Paranoia Survivor and on heavy. That crowd stayed for the next couple of dollars I went through lol.

In real life, probably DMAN SDG'ing Sakura. He's from my area, and he's AAA'ed it before.

There was one time this guy that's teaching me about Heavy mode was hogging the machine trying to AAA Sexy Planet (Nonstop Megamix). He eventually pulled it off after bumping it from 4th to 2nd on the most frequently played list, but I was busy kicking serious ass at another video game and didn't really notice. I won't mention the other game because discussion about that belongs in the Other Video Games forum.

on of my friends that play's at zap zone in waterford AA's secura on stealth playing facing away from the machine looking at the people watching him. and he currently holds the #1 slot in michigan on the song pandamonium on in the groove with i believe %91.

I got my 49-year-old dad to play at the mall. That was pretty incredible.

Even if he failed on light mode. It was still awesome.

But actually at my mall's arcade the #1 song is Max 300 and it got AAA'd. Maybe later ill get proof.

I totally agree RevenG - STOP POSTING ABOUT "OMFG I SAW THIS ONE GUY AND HE AAAAAAA'D LEGEND ROAD ON STEALTH BOOMERANG SPLIT 1.3 SONG SPEED"... post a pic or get some credibility. Anyway, I've never seen anything really too impressive in person, but I hear some of the sick-sick-sickEST DDR shows take place at Otokan (sp?) each year. Can anybody verify this?

But there are some people that are pretty crazy. Some people memorizing the songs...they have no lives though.

The most impressive feat of DDRship I've seen is someone play LOM Heavy as 1st Stage. He got an A I think. I'm just impressed that he did that for 1st stage, like it's nothing. But lots of people can.

Most impressive feat of ITGship? Looking at the high scores! There was a 7-blocker that was 99.20%'d, and plenty of other good stuff.

That's something I couldn't stand about DDR. The scores are too convoluted. Percentages are much easier to read. Tha's not to say I hate DDR's scoring system, but man, it's impossible to gain an appreciation for the high scores.
