good idea but couldn't the rapist can't remove it? if they can't how does the user remove it themselves?

I mean if you can remove it then it only works if they don't think you use it, but if it's to prevent rapes and not simply disable the attacker post-rape then it's only useful -if- it's known that it works

Most rapists wouldn't check. Once they're trapped it has to be surgically removed, leading to their embarrassingly painful arrest.

IIRC, .co.za = South Africa. (Rape is a much more real and pressing problem there.)

I've seen a bunch of rape protection devices before; this one looks relatively safe by comparison to some of them, although I'm a bit skeptical of the one-size-fits-all approach. Also, I have a feeling a number of boyfriends/husbands will accidentally get "tagged"... won't that one be fun to explain to the police.

I don't like it. Some girls are going to be shady, and be like "hey wanna sex me", and the man will say "HELL YA". They go and do it, he gets clamped on. She says he tried to rape her, sue, ????, profit!

It's a terrible idea, everyone here pretty much took the words out of my mouth. "Hey lets piss off the guy trying to rape me so even worse things can happen." The thought never occurred to me that women could use it as a scam for money.
