I just cancelled my FFR subscription, and was wondering if it was possible to recover my most recent payment of $21.00 through PayPal on July 30, 2011 (being that subscribing both no longer exists and no longer has any benefits). If not, it's no big deal.

From what I was hearing from FFR staff when the game came back, the answer for that was: people were expected to stop that particular recurring transaction. You more than likely won't receive a refund for that.
Also, nice to see an '03 player wandering around; you're a rare breed. |

I hope they actually make use of it, then. Would like to know if that goes toward server/site development, if nothing else. Just thought I'd ask is all.

Do a dispute through paypal, you may get it back that way. I did it with a charge from netflix and got my money back.

I opened up a PayPal dispute a few days ago. I might also note Synthlight and see if he has anything to say regarding the subject. For those of you who replied, thank you!

For anybody who had subscription time that was during the downtime, there is/was a thread where you could post to have the benefits extended to a similar amount of time going forward from now so you'd still have the benefits of the subscription for the time you lost.
If that's your situation, just PM me with some sort of evidence of the length of subscription time you bought and the date you bought it (The paypal log showing the money coming out on a date would be fine) and we'll set you up with that length of time for benefits. If the charge came out -after- the site came back up, unfortunately, that's something you'll need to settle with paypal. We stopped supporting subscriptions and removed the ability to buy them at the time the site came back up, but recurring payments are stored on paypal's side, not ours, so we had no way to also end the payment from your side. |

lol the money goes into Synth's pocket, nothing more. This site isn't being actively financed anymore. Residual revenue is SUPPOSED to be paid back to people Synth owes debt to, but we all know that isn't happening.
