i CAN'T start my car properly. it takes 2 to 3 seconds to quit the revving moment even when i hold the accelerator...any idea on how to start up quicker???
not to mention i'm on automatic gears...lolLast edited by Turismo guy; 07-7-2011 at 11:48 AM.. |

...revving moment? You mean ignition right? How long does it take to start the car? Over 5 seconds and it might be a glitch. Keep in mind that older cars will take a while to start. For instance, a Ford GT40('66) will take far longer to start than a Ford GT('05).
edit: And use manual! Everyone knows manual cars are cooler. |

i found out that over revving too much before a start will give your car a startline dash speed problem. not too sure how to avoid it,tho

this is beyond true, and i'm referencing real life here by a manual car will get you home, they're built better than automatics, and think about it, manuals have 5-6 gears, one of those has to work

I suck at manual,i need to watch to tachometer all the time just to know when to shift and then i crash while this happens.
BUT i guess it's worth a try,thanks man. ![]() |

i just tried it. the game's manual transmission (or sequential) is horrendous.
The car dies even in the first gear (Okay well im using a Jaguar Type-E Coupe, but hey it's NEW,only 187.9 KM on it) Anyways call me a noob IDC but i prefer having my eyes off the tachometer. LOL i'm not mad,it just...well,i need to learn, and the sooner i get an answer for the ingame startup, the better i can ride online ![]() |

lol thats true, especially when you get a 200 meters bounce when you try to take a photo OR get to pass through the ground OR also, get a game that often freezes like Test Drive Unlimited 2.
I noticed that over revving the car too much before the GO! signal (Which appears way late after 3,2 and 1) will screw up the engine power as well. Each car in Test Drive Unlimited 2 seems to have an appropriate revving limit before the GO! signal appears. I'm trying to find out when, but for now i'm taking a goooood break and playing Gran Turismo 5,which is my 2nd fave racing game of all times (Yes,TDU2 has bitchslapped my GT5 play time, since i like TDU2 wayyy more now,not to mention it's a rockin' M.O.O.R game (Massive Open Online Racer)) |
