E3 2011 convo - Page 2

Halo 4 surprised the shit out of me. Really wasn't expecting Halo 4 until the next generation. Anyone who says this game is going to suck doesn't know what they're talking about.
Mass Effect 3 makes me jizz my pants every time I see something new.
Skyrim is also going to be amazing.
Nintendo's Press conference is in 20 minutes. Can't wait for that. Especially news on Zelda: Skyward Sword <3

EDIT: Great Zelda and 3DS news.
Disappointed by the new console.

not so sure about my feelings about the control for this new console, but it has zelda HD

and smash bros. that its good enough for me xD. Also the support of new 3rd party games makes me happy to.

I'm still a little confuse if the wii u controler that they showed is the new console or its just a controller. :s

It's a new console and a new controller, which allows up to 5 players. It can let two people play differently, and allow a virtual reality feel to some of the games, considering the controller can allow you to not only see what's in front of you, but in other dimensions while also having the TV screen. It seems like it has a lot of potential, but we'll see.

the new controller would be great for a spotter/shooter game where the person with the wiimote is the main shooter and the person with the wiiu controller is the spotter and has an aerial or third person view of the area and directs the shooter where to go and what not. or one person is the spotter and you can have a team of four as the shooters

They should have ended the franchise with 3. Let a good game die on it's own. Don't milk it until there's nothing left in that cow.
Wars was fun because of the new gameplay style, but not worth the buy. ODST sucked all around. Reach was okay, but not worth the buy.

I've played and beaten every single Halo game ever. I was a crazed fan by the time Halo 2 came out. It just slowly died down after 3. I was contempt with Halo 3 finally supposed to end it and I think it should have just stopped there.

But I actually think the same thing now with CoD. MW2 was Infinity Ward's Undoing and Black Ops is Treyarch's.
I will never buy another CoD game ever again after reading about the "Premium" shit they're going to sell to players for MW3 by Infinity Ward.
**** that. I have to buy the game, buy the DLC, and now if I want to be any good I have to buy your premium crap too?

Yesh I saw the conference but I was a little confuse since they dint show the console, just the controller. I was able to find a picture of the console soon enough to find that its a prettier wii lol.

So they just the "project cafe" new system for nintendo.... its called the "Wii U" and the controller... as you might of thought with the new technology transfer.... IS A PAD WOO RULULULULULULULUL.

It's also much more powerful of a system than the wii, which is a good thing. However, those hardcore graphics gamers would prefer the other consoles coming out that will exceed the Wii U's graphics. Personally, you can only go so high with graphics to where it doesn't become an issue anymore. I don't know when we'll get there, though.

EDIT: I have no idea what skier is trying to say. If you're trying to mock the new console, you're being pretty ignorant about it.

I can't get that to stream correctly for me.
It will run fine for a minute or two then it chokes and just freezes. I have to refresh the page to get it working again.
I don't feel like refreshing every 2 minutes so I'll just read IGN's article on it later if no one has a fix for this.
