Don't get me wrong though, if Texas ever tried to secede, that would be an incredibly stupid decision.
Thats not an appropriate gauge.

He should run for the democrats, honestly. Doesn't matter if he's right or left or whatever, people with common sense generally aren't republicans.

Ah well let me play both sides of the fence here. Congressional democrats don't found their platform on common sense. They found themselves in carrot-and-stick promises offering programs and goals more around what garnishes popular votes.

So lets review: Republicans = misguided, nationalistic ideology. Democrats = Bait and switch. I love that Ron Paul is trying to bring a proper definition to the Republican party, though I'm still iffy about it. At least he brings to the table some reason and logic in a cool, non-inflamitory way.

Bah. As the days go on, though, I'm probably going to land on Obama again as much as I voted against him last time. The fellah has done pretty well in internationally but he's really going to have to fix how puddles around to fix the economy. Bailout fail. That dude is NOT anti-buisness, nor are most Dems despite what they say.

it doesnt matter, you can keep inflating the dollar forever and pushing the problems around until they became irrelevant and part of life (too late)

gotta love capitalism.

I live in Texas and the national recession seems completely irrelevant to my everyday life.

I don't support him, but I'd love to see him win the Republican primary more than anything else in the world. Besides a blowjob, I could really use a blowjob right now.

Economy:

We have resources but not enough to go around

Some people start out with more resources than others. Sometimes it's dumb luck, sometimes it's through effort, sometimes it's through brains, sometimes it's a mixture.

Long-term solutions can be completely different than short-term ones.

Given that, make the economy workkkkk.

I think your definition is self referential
