Default A Suggestion

I just wanted to suggest to the FFR managers or whatever to email everybody who plays FFR to notify them that it's back. I'm sure a lot of people would still love play!

Our activity numbers are basically already at where they were pre-downtime. Only a very small percentage of that 1.7M have EVER actually been active users. The majority are accounts that were made more than 3 years ago, played less than 5 games, made less than 5 posts and then haven't been used since.

I remember the summer of 2008.
There were over 4,000 people online at peak hours, and 1800 online at the lowest point of the night. :P

I actually remember that too. MP was always packed and there was always competition, even late night.

I miss this.

I'm sure it will build back up though, it got up there the first time around didn't it?

It was never nearly that high. We were actually getting about an average of about 3600 total unique users per day across the summer of 2008 (Lowest: 3049, Highest: 4456) so the peak time was probably closer to 2000.

We're at about 1300/day now, and we were at about 1450/1500 in the winter of 2009

Also, we're getting about 5800 new registrations per month right now.

I clearly remember, perhaps not in 2008?, numbers on the "xxxx users currently using FFR." being over 4,000 at some points.

When I joined in 2007 the numbers were averaging around 1,800 at peak. This is all memory, so I can't be sure. You have the statistics. :P

The highest "Total users per day" for that summer was 4456, and I really doubt they were all on at once. Still, the total activity on the site in Summer '08 was triple that of right now, no matter which way we go.
