I'm still laughing at the fact the music industry wants LimeWire to pay MORE MONEY THAT EVEN EXISTS IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!

Article says 75 trillion. Basically they just want to bankrupt everyone and everything associated with limewire. They understand they won't and can't receive that much money.

$75 trillion. If only it was the government suing so we could get out of this budget deficit...

Does this sound supremely ironic to anyone else, or is it just me?
Also, LOL at the cited damages. This is probably to scare off the people that want to make its successor.

The music industry needs to come back to reality and face the facts. Because they're never gonna see that money lol

Lower it to about 3 million and maybe they'll see that money.

I think the music industry has to change the way they deal business with music, as opposed to sueing every music downloading site. The industry's dealing with an uphill battle if they try to force the same sort of business practice. Sueing 25 trillion is a meaningless cause and is comparable to a child whining about something he or she can't get back. Music downloading is not some sort of outlawed practice, but is just part of the technologically evolutionary trend of exchanging information more easily. It's a much bigger thing than a few large companies wanting their own little ways - it's a movement, and you can't stop that.
