I posted this hint about Silly Symph a while back:

This pattern appears 8 total times, and numbers 1, 5, and 6 should be hit 16th-24th style, with the rest (2, 3, 4, 7, 8) hit 24th style. The 2nd one is a little tricky since the 24ths form a 2-frame jack, but I think you'll be fine if you don't hit the first 12th "jump" early. (You should never hit that first jump early, even though it's the first part of a minijack.)

Beginning of Bus Rides With People

This is most likely the culprit of everyone's undoing: this little framer issue right here.

The continuation of this pattern shows just a simple straightforward jump trill.

Another part of this song that may confuse you is the colorful jumps around 400 combo;

The lead in:

The jumps:

Take note that there is a (14) jump immediately after the 64th (23) jump.

I don't know if you have any trouble with any other part of this song, it seems pretty straightforward to me. There is a 64th 4 note roll going from right to left however near the end of the song that has a frame issue. It's best to hit it as a (34) (12) jump trill.

Nice Bus Rides with people (gay intro al;ksd).

Dream of Scarlet is pretty straight forward. If anything, look at a replay where you're getting goods. It's nothing too difficult, especially for you.

If you guys want, I'd be happy to replace the pictures in this topic with pictures that more clearly show where the frames are. They'd look something like the Silly Symphony pictures, but they can be as high as they need to be (unlike replay snapshots).

Your method of showing can actually be a bit better at showing frames. Both images would help as some people might visualize better with arrows rather than bars.

Showing framers thing: Comparing the first and second image actually show the frame difference. The last 2 notes (down and left) are spaced differently. If they were from a FFR replay, that space is harder to tell because it doesn't show like the left and down in the first image. It's connected to the left arrow there but not in the second.

For different arrows that are quite spaced, framers are hard to tell in the FFR replay if it isn't dense.

Like Blue's picture here:

The 14(12) is hard to tell the framers apart. It looks evenly spaced at glance but it's really 14[gap](12) (the 4 isn't exactly between the left arrow)

It's jumptrillable as [12][34] o.o
That's how I did that part on my AAA run.

But if you're still having trouble, I guess someone else can try to go more in-depth.

Yea it's jumptrillable. I mean I suck at the file, but I can AAA that part almost everytime just with [12][34] jumptrill.

I need tips for M.A.M.A.
My fingers can't seem to adjust to 3 finger files. I just feel like mashing the whole way through when I play it.

You have to get accustomed to just using 3 fingers. Mess with mirror and see which hand you are more dominant with. Once you find that, just practice the file. It's more about training your muscle memory than just doing it. Hardly any file is so dominant on using 3 fingered patterns. Any time that there is, majority of people have issues with it since there isn't anything else to train it.

EDIT: Also, one hard part that I have trouble with is hitting boos on the unused arrow. I use mirror since I'm left handed and every once and a while I'll hit the other arrow with my middle finger or my index from slipping. Might help to just change the unused arrow for another key away from the other fingers.

Also if you're worried about accidentally hitting the key where there aren't any notes, you can map a different key so that if you accidentally hit it (which I did so many times when the file first came out) you don't get any boos.

Something else you can try -- map all three keys next to each other, with your dominant hand having two keys to take care of and your other hand to take care of one. If you want, you can map the arrow that isn't used to a key far away from your setup as a fail-safe.

Playing the song on 1x might be what you need to figure out the combo numbers for when you need to switch in the stream. I can try to play on this laptop -- won't get a good score but I might be able to FC it. Gimme a minute.

EDIT: actually, have you thought about playing the song on your speed and then adjusting the replay settings by clicking the "View with your settings" button after changing in-game?
