Concerning the whole clan war thing. Here's the deal: it's expensive and gives no benefit whatsoever. The strategy right now is to hope people attack us. When you attack people, you steal goodie bags. Goodie bags do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, they just sit around and look cool. When you choose to attack a clan, it lists all the clans in order of how many bags they have. The highest clan right now has 677691 bags, second highest has 2355. There are 2 ways to get bags: stealing them from other clans, and buying them. They cost 1,000 meat each, which is a lot for something that does nothing.
However, the more bags you have, the more tempting it is to attack you. You see, one of the best things a clan can have is a Phantom Trollbooth. Whenever another clan attacks and you have one of these, they are forced to pay 10,000 meat. So, right now, we have 2 goodie bags, which I bought some time ago. I'm hoping that another clan will be stupid and attack us. Even if they steal the bags, we get 10,000 meat, giving us an 8,000 meat profit. I just looked at the message board in the clan area, and it says we were attacked yesterday at 9pm, and that we won. That means we just got 10,000 meat and a win. We don't get attacked often, but the people who do attack are idiots and always lose, since we have quit a bit of defense. Thus, right now we're quite rich and have a win/loss record of 19/3. Not the best, but pretty damn good for how new of a clan we are. I think what our plan is now is similar to what the top clan's plan is. We're to lay dormant until we have millions, may be billions, in meat. We may attack some, but I think the biggest thing is to focus on defense. Last time we were active in clan warfare, we mostly just had attacking armies and no archers to protect ourselves. Right now we have 550 archers. We really need several thousand archers once we get more goodie bags, in order to insure that we don't lose our investment in them. I think the fact that we're all getting stores will be a big help. If I seriously played this game with all 3 of my accounts and chanelled all my items into the one store I have (named FFR), I could have tons of meat for the clan. Hence, I'm gonna go play seriously right now and see how much my store can earn overnight.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

You saw what my store did in 1 day... plus 20 minutes of sitting in the Trade chat room. I made another 40,000 or so from buying grossly underpriced goods (10 meat) and then selling them for almost normal price. Made like 250,000 or so overnight.

Tasselfoot, I have 2 more giant moxie weeds if you want to buy them...
I've also been selling ridiculous items in the shop for ridiculous prices (razor sharp lid for 700 meat). It's really quite amazing to see people buy your crap. |

I have three accounts and i use two of them to channel meat. Right now my tactic is to farm up razor sharp can lids and stalks of asparagus, using my other two accounts. Then i hae my main accoutn sell them for competitive prices, and with one lvl 33 gravy fairy and another lvl 25 gravy fairy on the two accounts i accumulate about 240k of meat every few days. I'm thinking about switching to another type of item. Anyone know how common smart skulls are?

Smart skulls are pretty common if you have a gravy fairy and you adventure in the cemetary. I would average about one every 7 adventures or so. Depends how lucky you are because that skeleton enemy is relatively rare.
Smart skulls sell for a crazy amount now. I was surprised!! Anyone know what the detective skull does??

I keep donating my n00bish or less than 80 meat value items to the clan.... and, I saw we were only 7000 meat from 1 million, so I gave us exactly 1 million meat.

Ah, I play this game too. Here's a tip with money making, donate 10 dollars to the game, and they'll give you a "Mr. Accessory" for it. There's a guy who pays people to get items for him, and he apparently pays 7.5 million for one Mr. Accessory. His page with details is located here. Make sure you read all about how to pay, some of the rules and other things. I donated 20 dollars so I would have one Mr. Accessory for personal use, and one for money. I'm going to try this out with this guy and see if he's trustworthyand gives me my money. This thing looks like it's been pretty successful though, and I don't think he got that way from scamming.

instead of hoping he's trustworthy, why not just put it up for sale and let him buy it himself to insure you're not getting screwed (out of ten dollars : D). Does anybody know how to get/find a "nothing in the box"? I looked on coldfront, but to no avail. edit: I figured it out...just need to find a regular box now. |

Evilbutterfy, But what does any of that mean for any of the regular members? Part of the reason I stopped donating was because I didn't see much point. That was only part of the reason though.. I was also at that stage where I needed lots of meat and had no income.
In other news, I'm stocking the store basically daily. I should being to donate 10,000 meat a day starting today. : ) |

Unfortuantel War doesn't help any of us, it just shows clan power, and if we get good enough it could be a way to advertise for the site.

All went as planned, I got my 7.5 million really quickly. I made the request at 2 AM or so, and I woke up at noon to find I had my money.

Hey guys, I just finished adventuring on "mimehater" and decided I needed a second account. So voila! "mim3hat3r" was born. Does anyone have some mediocre pastamancer stuff they could stand to part with? starting fresh is a little painful. If you wish to help me out, just make an offer.
