thats ffr for you

realize that when it comes to hard charts idm and breakcore are the go to genres so thats why you get a lot of it

Do to reasons such as this one I try to pick some more obscure/less stepped genres to step for FFR such as:

Nu-Style Gabba [Altair - this batch]
Videogame Nerdcore [Duck Hunt - this batch]
Crunk [Upcoming Canblaster file]
J-Core (not by sharpnel & friends) [Upcoming die!!die!!color!!! file]

etc

I would encourage people to step more genres not represented in the game or obscure in general. Diversity = good, in this case.

People should step more piano music so that the classic genre looks like D1/D2. =]

I'd love to see more orchestral stuff that's in abundance on sites like jamendo.

Considering that there are like 400+ dance/tachno/gabba/electronic songs in there, we should have a rock folder the size of D2 at least.

No screamo crap though, some good metal/rock. Someone go get permission from meshuggah so I can submit my combustion file when it is finished.

lol, I like screemo music, there honestly isnt even that much screemo music in FFR, there is more Making April type garbage and other variations or rock in the rock genre then screemo music.

P.S. Release White Walls and somehow make it as one file!!!! :P

I can live without more Making April type stuff >.> but there really isn't much screamo. Reality, TDSoK, ABCDEath...now that I think about it, if we have a solid Psychostick permission then I know of a few songs that would be okay to step.

Just looked, we have permission. Might consider stepping something.

I like Protest the Hero. DDream makes things a lot easier - I'm actually stepping Sequoia Throne (have been for a while now).

DDream is still difficult to use.

Honestly, I was gotta start using the Rise permissions we have, but I've been busy/lazy/computer broke again/lost data again/lazy to finish any skeletons.

That was a WIP at one point. I think I stopped stepping that because I started stepping Heretic and Killers with Pyscho.

it would help if the permissions thread was sorted into rough genres along the lines of 'electronic music' vs 'electronic music meant to sound like live music' vs 'live music'
