For the last 2-3 days, around half a day at a time, I haven't been able to load any pages on FFR. Getting the message "Session authentication failed". It probably doesn't have anything to do with my account; I'm logged off by default.

Well, you could try using FFR with another browser...such as firefox, opera, netscape, google chrome, etc. If you are using a browser aside from Internet Explorer, see if it occurs in Internet Explorer.
If none of that works, you could clear your internet's cache: Tools > Internet optons > Browsing History > Delete... Which could also be the problem. Otherwise I'm not really sure what it could be, hopefully that helps.

Do you have a dynamic IP that changes a lot? This message occurs when the IP that the server reads that you are connecting from doesn't match the IP that is stored for your bbsessionhash cookie. If your IP changes your session will expire and you will need to clear your cookies for FFR.

I changed it so that when session validation fails it now deletes your bbsessionhash cookie and logs you in as a guest.
