Next lunar eclipse (maybe including your location) will be on April 15, 2014.

The next solar eclipse will be on October 14, 2023 for all of North America (Canada, United States (excluding Hawaii), and Mexico), Central America, South America (except for the extreme south end), the Caribbean, and Bermuda.

This one is in a couple of weeks in northern Sweden but it's only partial.

If we want to see the next total solar eclipse we'll need a boat. xD

So who's going to show up for the October 14, 2023 Total Solar Eclipse Party? It will fall on a Saturday so you better be there...

That webcast makes me feel like I'm watching the opening sequence for Heroes.

So, who's looking forward to the Transit of Venus in June 2012? I'm pumped.

OK, uploading some pics. Because I'm doing this chronologically, I'll include the other two I've posted earlier. All times are GMT.

moon shines brightly at 5:46pm; night lens enhances the shot

moon halo at 11:28pm; night lens enhances the shot

eclipse beginning to show its effect at 12:04am

eclipse well underway at 12:45am; moon turns rusty orange-red; night lens enhances the shot; slight blurriness though

eclipse at its maxima at 1:27am; moon is a darker red color; night lens enhances the shot
