Oh, a fraction? Well, then I guess my idea isn't so bad after all. The majority of gamers who play this game will benefit from my suggestion - sorry to break it to you but you can never please everyone. |

I have a brother who plays but I can AAA VCs and stuff while he can only AAA 4s and under. Also I would love it if all my scores from other accounts I had were transfered to this one XD.

There's a good bit of people that live in a household where there's more than one ffr player. My brothers play they just don't come into the community and I'm willing to bet you there's many others that aren't in the community that share an IP. It wouldn't be fair to sit there and say that people in the same household can't play. At one point in our house there were 5 of us playing. If you're going to argue that people that play shouldn't be allowed to have more than 1 AAA on an IP even if it is different people then why don't you argue that they should removed all the inactive players that haven't touched the game in years. |

inactives SHOULD be removed.
same IP... not so much. there are ways to go about and find out alts and what not though. i say on Jan 1st on the main page. add a button that you click once and it goes away that says something like "i am an active player dont delete me".... and after a month whatever profile didnt click it. gets terminated. simple as that? idk

Revo: Harder to mash FC, played by many because it was released much earlier, harder to read. It also takes a long time to actually get to the hard parts -- this isn't a "MASHMASHMASH ALL THE WAY THROUGH" song. It suffers from Massive CBF Syndrome.
DP: Easier to mash FC because it's uniformly cluster****ed (minus the obvious lulldown), easier to find because it's a 13 (any noob is going to play a 13 to see wtf it's all about, esp. if there's a chance to mash FC it). |

This is an awesome idea. And we'll know the actual number of people who are active, not 1.7 mill ...

Im in the top 200 on death piano, but not even close to that on Revo :/ Honestly, I think that people just play DP way more because:
a)It's a better song b) Revo is just plain annoying, with all blue, horrid backround, retarded jacks etc c) People know death piano as 'the hardest song' (ignoring RATO) and try hard on it.

Its not a good idea to do this because its pretty messed up to take away scores from people who earned them just because they are inactive. Some people still dont even know the site is back and if they come back to see their stats gone, why would they want to stay/come back. Its one thing to remove scores that were cheated, but you dont take away scores from people who earned them. It would be like wiping all of Rubix's scores just because he is inactive now and doesnt play anymore. Thats pretty messed up. |

Make it so that everyones scores who hasn't been online since ffr came back are deactivated, but coming back to ffr even once activates your scores again. It would clean up a lot of things but not have any negative impact if someone came back. Perhaps do that once a year, I dont know.

Why is everyone making a fuss about other scores? Think about what the most viable solution would be. 1 - allow only one user per IP; stops tons of people from being able to record decent scores 2 - remove inactive users; removes scores from people who may be inactive due to other reasons that we aren't aware of - if they return, then what will be done? 3 - change absolutely nothing; no one loses scores, everyone still can play, the only thing that happens is people have slightly lower ranks. Sorry, but as much as properly calculated ranks might be a nice thing, it's not worth ruining the game for other users. Quote:

here is what i would do.
everyone has an emial. send them an email saying FFR is back. on the first on january, with the button in place, so they can click it to tell say are still active or not. after a month, take the button down and clean up the site. nothing wrong with it. not FFR's fault if they dont check their email. flawed plan? not at all. clean up the site add more memory. no harm will come from it. and if they signed up with an email they don't use, still not FFR's fault.

Ive had to use multiple emails for different reasons, and honestly I dont even know what email I signed up for on FFR, I would have to look it up. Some people dont just use one email for years at a time. Not FFR's fault? No, but it's not the users either.

you have to use multiple email to make alts on FFR, and if your already here you would see the button... i dont see you logic here.
They get a month warning and an email. Thats plenty of time for them to see the email and an extra month to check back to the site.

Not like anyone cares, but I personally think that they should just be left alone. Obvious hacks/alts can be removed from scores, but it's relatively pointless to go through and start wiping massive amounts of scores from inactivity.
