I resubmitted my Metro file according to qqwref and sam's notes.

Since my file didn't get 16 though the changes will probably be in next batch, but I'm fine with that.

Thanks for the really informative and in-depth notes guys. This was meant to be a fun short file to (hopefully) boost my cap for the next batch as I have 3 solid files that i'm putting finishing touches on and fixing up.

Couldn't even get a legitimate review. . .

[Double checking]

Do we send resubmissions to the same batch email or to a different one?

Same email. Would be chaotic if there was more than one email anyhow.

@nois: I don't think anyone took your file very seriously, which may have masked any legitimate effort you put into the song. Just my guess.

It was in-sync, I can see how the song title makes it seem a bit silly. The ddr reference in the song made me chuckle. And I thought it would make a neat easier file for ffr.

The 'reviews' tell me nothing of what was wrong with it, and definitely no justification for the -/--'s that were given. Were the patterns awkward? Is there some massive error in sync I missed? Or are these people judging by a title, or because they don't like the song?

Figured i'd at least get some feedback, not smart responses to a song title...

My apologies.

you're dumb (nois-or-e) [?]

(numbers are DDream times)

7.090 - with the jump accenting the ride, there's no need for a jump at 7.890, since it's only carrying a fairly unaccented synthesized melody
8.590/8.990/9.390 - your rhythm: .xx (blank, yellow, red); correct rhythm: xxx (blue, yellow, red)
11.319 to 21.201 - pitch relevance is perfectly acceptable over here, but with how easy the chart is, maybe pattern variation would work a little better rather than constraining yourself to the pitch relevance of the melody. This area is a bit empty, as well.
23.231/26.054 - missing 16ths to the synth sample? You accent it a bit later with very little change in the melody.
ad-lib ending - there are a few notes missing, possibly as a by-product from lowering the chart difficulty. The two jumps here should be changed though, since it's a single voice that is rather monotonous, aside from the ending.

Song isn't exactly the most suitable for the queue due to the length, and certain areas do need fixes.

Resubmitted Chik Habit again (this time with resubmission tag), synced the gigaburst as Gundam-Dude said.

I actually care about the ratings that I give, so I gave Jae the respect that he deserved and gave him a legitimate review.

I'm still not judging/submitting for a new batch for previously mentioned reasons.

For people who want to submit files: just wait a bit until submission open.

submission isn't always open, unlike previous system (we need submissions only when we don't have enough files in the queue).

We'll add like 20 files for Xmas event, so after that submission will be open again.

Do you mean just for new files and resubmissions are still accepted, or no?

I'll just go off the first post:

"You can still send the fixed .dwi for queue'd/conditional queue'd files."

So fixes to files that are in the queue basically. Jx still needs to clarify this though (and update the front page post to emphasize that you cannot send files in when submissions are closed).

p.s. thanks jx!

ok

Fixes of queue'd/conditional files = always OK
Resubmission (rejected files)/ New files = NG (only when submission is open)

like wc said you shouldn't take criticism as an opportunity to bash your files; rather it should give you an idea of how the judge would make it more fun. this doesn't mean you have to conform 100% to what they're telling you, but rather use them as guidelines to incorporate your own style and adding more structure. structure is what makes any file look more "professional" and adds more fun into it, mostly because the effort invested to make a well structured file ends up making your file one of the most played.
