Combos
What do you get from having a combo? Any bonus points involved for large ones?

550 points per perfect (50 for raw scoring) 275 points per good (25 for raw scoring) 55 points per average (5 for raw scoring) -310 points per miss (-10 for raw scoring) -20 per boo (-5 for raw scoring) and +1000 per arrow in your max combo (if you FC a song with 1k notes, then you get a 1 million point boost!) Raw scoring is the score that shows up on the bottom of your game screen. The other scoring is calculated when you finish a song. |

Re: Combos
it feels like there's a bit TOO much weight on combo, though.
A player who mashed their way to a higher combo in a song like Death Piano would get more points than the one who hit much more accurately and got a lower combo.

I do too. The system really could use a reworking because there are mashed scores outweighing scores that have pretty decent PA but the combo may not be high enough. There's a lot of my ranks that I can't improve right now because somehow or another at some point I had gotten a decent combo but terrible PA and now I can get much better PA but keep screwing up combo wise and I really don't want to mash lol. |
