So does anyone else have trouble with slow trills or is that just me in all my glorious suckiness? Not like regular jackhammer kinda trills but just a constant back and forth stream of the same two notes. Am I the only one who can't keep a steady beat on a pattern like that?

Yeah, I have the same issue, I guess it's just about keeping consistency, just practice, and you'll eventually get better. Don't worry, plenty of people have this problem.

If you think about them visually you get distracted by the flow of the arrows, if you just fog out the notes and do them by ear / rhythm you'll be fine. On off-sync songs they're obnoxiously hard to hit, though.

Slow 8th notes trills are so hard for me. I play 95% visually so its very frustrating.

Since we're in problems when we play the game, does anyone's heart start racing when you're about to get a AAA?
Or when you're about to get a hard ass FC your eyes start to hurt, and you're scared to blink? I get both these problems lmao, hate em. |

Always happens to me, lol you have to strategize on where to blink, etc and I really hate it when your eyes start to water. Slow trills like these love messing with your mind and rhythm

I sometimes get that adrenaline before a hard AAA like the higher FMO's. I don't have problems blinking though. I can keep my eyes open forever.

Sometimes when I'm about to AAA a hard file my eyes start looking somewhere else suddenly for a split second, so I actually miss a note or two. lol

i get the fuccen shakes when my heart rate jumps because of a good run, which is helpful for super fast stuff actually like fast js but sucks for any kind of accuracy.
slow trills can blow me though anything 200 or below 16th notes on one hand is impossible

When it comes to slow trills, I try to use the rhythm to my advantage, because you can get disoriented from a back and forth repetitive pattern over time.
When it comes to fast trills, sometimes I realize that I'm not hitting fast and hard enough, so I basically force myself to "do it". Sometimes your fingers are weaker than you want them to be, and you don't even realize it. |

8th trills at about 180 BPM are the WORST.

Robotix has an annoying trill thats hard to keep constant XD. Back and forth green arrows. I blink WAY too much and I end up looking at how much farther I have left to go in the song and then screw up because of that. And I move my keyboard around a lot during a song because I am not comfortable and stuff like that.

lol I forgot about that Robotix trill. I've never had any serious issues with it other than it made me nervous because of green arrows.
1212121 trill in TGWP makes me nervous too. As does Eternal Nightmare as a whole.

The 16th trill transition from the 24ths in Crowdpleaser are really awkward for me

Main reason those are bad is because of the horrifically offbeatness of it. I hit those arrows really hard so my keytaps overpower the music and I can usually PA them alright, but if you're trilling with the music for any part of that song, gl.

I dunno if this works but maybe it helps to keep track and look at the onbeat arrow in a trill to help coordinate timing. If you look at both arrows, you might not know when you're hitting what.
