I don't always post in the forums, it just takes too long talking about somthing instead of doing it, but I do enjoy forums (just rather be doing somthing). OK, question peoples... do you guys play all day on one certain song to memorize all the arrows or what? in moonlight sonata i can almost beat it, but i always mess up somehow... I need help. And does everyone have the computer with the arrows all in a horizontal line like the in-game arrow buttons? Because i have a left, down, up is above the down, and right arrow keypad. Feel free to post your experiences because I need to know this to get better and be able to step up to the harder levels. Thank you for your time!

well yea, you're a newb. just keep at it. and try using 2 hands when you play, its ALOT easier, and you'll get better alot faster.
And no, we don't memorize arrows. You just learn to read them really quickly after awhile.

Well, I gotta say having a keyboard like that would make it pretty tough, plus Moonlight Sonata is a bit off synched, so I would recomend practicing 136.6 pretty fun song, it will help your reactions a bit I guess...anyway, I'm not one to talk so much cause I'm only moderatly above average... :-/

It just comes with practice. Just practice reading the arrows, you'll get it.

i dont have the arrows horizontal, i remembered the same thing and wondered if it was the standard most people had... anywho, i CAN beat moonlight sonata, but i always miss one or two. i cant beat the megaman and i can WIN but SUCK at the legend of zelda remix... i guess i just cant find the beat or somthing. this is my second day at FFR and so far i like the comunity, ive read sevral forums, but mosty im spectator and just learn about other people (but not in an evil way just so when im ready to post i can tell whos giving bs answers and who to look out for lol)

well for two days thats awesome, I mean you shouldn't expect to be awesome in two days, it makes sence that your missing, but your scores are awesome(for two days) so just keep practicing, reaction time is like the biggest thing I've found. Just my two cents

Well, James me boy, I've always done it with 2 hands. Here's how:
Left middle on Left Left index on Down Right index on Up Right middle on Right Make a double peace sign at the screen and you'll see how that makes sense. |

Ah, Moonlight Sonata... one of the key beginner songs. Even if it IS a n00b song, I liked it before I joined FFR... But anyway, my style is the same as rhythms, but switch the index fingers. And look, the arrow direction you can manually change on the main screen at the top right corner... I prefer the arrows rising from the bottom of the screen, cuz that's how my friends do it, and that's how I've practiced. But that's just me.

uh I play with one hand so it's some times hard for me to switch up and down over and over. I forget what it's like not to be good reading the arrows. I see them like you see words when I read .you look at a word you see the whole thing not each individual letter. I see the arrows in chunks. Now when it streams I just stare at the screen and my fingers move by themselves. Also try and consentrate at the middle or bottom of the screen the farther down you can look the better you'll get.
