Snow day :3 - Page 3

Put my winter tires on 2 days ago, thank god.

Cars are covered in snow, ground is pure white, just a couple of CM's though. We got a snow day because of ice last friday, and this time we got ice THEN snow on top of that and they didn't cancel school.....

Ahaha, Oregon is hilarious.

Saskatchewan got absolutely **** on by Mother Nature but school didn't close. The plows hadn't even been out one day when I drove to university. The ruts were horrible, it was frigid, and it took me 30 minutes to get there when it normally takes 7.

And classes were relatively full.

This was my car AFTER I cleaned it and drove it around for a bit. It had about 4 inches of ice/snow on top of it. Took 15 minutes to scrap off the windows alone.

We get this kind of snow in October sometimes. This is actually REALLYlate for us.

What makes me laugh is that some people think that's a lot of snow when it's our first REAL snow of the year, it's snowed a couple times already but nothing like this one. During the winter we have 3-5 foot snow banks on the sides of the roads and 2-3 feet of snow on top of our lawns.

Whilst driving to my GF's house, it's all mountains(well hills and cliffs) and holy ****, during the fall all the tree's are colored, it's amazing. Now in the winter all the tree's are covered in snow. It's so beautiful.

I'd much rather have warm weather year round than snow days
So far we haven't had snow yet but it's below freezing today so who knows how long that will last :c

its been about -25c to -40c (-13f to -40f) we have also got around 1 1/2 feet of snow in a week.... Canada gets a bit to cold... But oh well a lot of snow days here! =)

november 21st calgary is marked as the 2nd coldest place on earth
1st coldest is the south pole ( if this tells you anything)

Took a drive from 2am-3am just sliding around everywhere, around corners. So much fun, especially since nobody's on the road at this time. It was snowing too which made everything look so nice.

Same here. I can't wait to finish college and move to somewhere with nice warm weather year round. Preferably California or Florida. I wouldn't mind in residing in either of the two.. both have their perks.
