Anyways, back into reality. Nuclear weapons don't prove nothing. All it proves is that you have no other way to win so might as well cheat. During WWII, the U.S. had a reason to use them but now NK has no specific reason why they should start nuke threats.

Why do people keep saying North Korea doesn't stand a chance in a war situation "even if China is their ally?"
Think about this, all of South Korea's allies, such as the US and wherever else, are all way more diplomatic than China. China controls the world economy, and they're a communist nation. That said, they very well might be itching to get in a fight. While the US and Japan and all the other "free-world" countries are trying to do peace talks and cease fires, China will be revving their engines (as soon as they figure it's bad enough for them to get into.) |

China is an ally of north korea? For some reason I find this hard to believe.

Just because they are communist doesn't mean they both have to be allies.

Lol of course it is. However, China doesn't have the sort of I-thumb-my-nose-at-you disrespect to the world as N. Korea does. China doesn't necessarily defend N. Korea but more often just tells both sides of the conflict to "settle down". Which really doesn't solve anything.

They're allies, but in a very loose sense. China is like the big brother and North Korea is like its mentally unstable little brother who occasionally beats off in public. China will step in and occasionally try to calm the waters... but if the **** ever hit the fan, you can bet that China isn't going to ruin its relationship with the US for Korea.

Despite the big dispute China had with the U.S. most recently? For what it's worth, if China were to get involved, WW3 would be massive. The U.S. already is in somewhat of a bad state still with certain countries because of what Bush did to the U.N.. In my opinion, if China gets involved, we should worry heavily.... Between China having the largest military in the world overpowering the U.S. it would be endless and Vietnam all over again. The U.S. simply cannot afford to have China step in, it would kill our country and economy much further than it already is.

Yeah, I don't think that's the case. China might not like to criticize N. Korea, but it's certainly not going to go into a war to support N. Korea's cause.

Ouch. Whatever your opinion of America, if you are going to say something like that you should say "America" not "Americans". American citizens don't decide where our military points its guns.

well obviously he's not saying all americans
in a way americans is more exclusive because america sort of implies "the country" whereas americans implies those people who get involved

ITT: non-Korean people bickering about China & America's potential involvement
NK's not stupid enough to just nuke SK - NK's primary motivation for these provocations is to get some sort of financial, material, or diplomatic advantage by coercion, which has been the pattern for quite some time |

"America" is a metonymy for the government of America, so i don't think this is really a valid interpretation |
