Yeah, that with turbo, a 300$ APEX exhaust, and a lot of weight modifications to the car, can make it literally almost fly lmfao

And I have some pictures of the inside of his car, and the dash, ect., if you really care that much

SR20DET's all have turbos btw

it's the "t" in sr20det
but yeah, my Neon is beast for sure. New radiator, $20 exhaust tip, new Canadian Tire brakes, and winter tires. Don't wanna mess with that.

Obviously. When your eyes are closed like mine are in the picture it's hard to see.

And the JDM one made 250HP, I don't even think those things would hit 0-60 in 5 seconds.

300 dollars for an exhaust? Exhausts for my Civic costs more than that.

Also, the most weight he probably shed was like 100kg, that's taking out almost all the seats, the stereo, the A.C. Which wouldn't make the car that much faster.

Lol, how do you end up breaking paintball gear xD

Maybe not stock, but SR20DET's are pretty nice when you get extra parts. 2JZ is the way to go though
It might be possible though, getting rid of weight gets HUGE results.

I'm sure you've never floored the gas pedal before.

Or had weight modifications to a car.

EDIT: oh yeah and the car doesn't come with an ac genius

it's from 1989

My car already weighs only 1100kgs.

SR20DET's can make 250ish WHP on the stock turbo. That's at over 12PSI. If you had it at 7, which I bet is stock, you're making 200HP.

Honestly, you think that ****ing everything has to do with HP, just chill out.

"OOOOOH THAT CAR ONLY HAS 200 HP, AND IT CAN'T ACCELERATE FAST AT ALL, NO ITS A SLOW ****TY ASS CAR, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE A LOT OF HP. MY RICER IS WAY BETTER"

Just so you know, there's a difference between speed and acceleration buddy. My brother was a drifter, in the official tracks, the fastest drift you would do is probably about 90 MPH, which isn't relatively that fast, it's all on the acceleration at that point, to keep the drift. Apparently you think HP has something to do with all of this. You can drift a car with 200 HP easily with a wielded differential, which my brother had, and some turbo.

And the reason I'm saying had is because he blew his SR20 and his car got demolished a few months later, as in someone came around at midnight, sprayed it with spraypaint, and took whatever was left in the car.

Virus, we don't care about the fact that he drifts. At all.

You made a claim that his car could do 0-90 in 5 seconds. This is not possible given the specs you're throwing out there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2c53...eature=related

This is an SR20det doing a 0-115mph run, hitting 90 takes it 9.5 seconds, which is nearly double what you're claiming. Sorry but taking out the seats isn't going to shave 5 seconds off that time.

I know, it's one of those, hard to believe things.

And would anyone like to explain what a rev limiter is? It sounds like it prevents the engine from heating, and he said it had a backfire feature too, but I'd just like some clarification.

I still don't know the exact specs of his car, but I remember he thought some pussy truck wanted to race when my brother was taking me to summerschool, and we went that fast, and my bro said, "Hmm, 0 to 90 in 5 seconds, not bad."

Pretty much it was the ride of my life.

And he pretty much took out the whole interior, he left a sub and a passenger seat, that's it.

And the video is a horrible distribution of the torque, love how he almost stalls out in the beggining.

And it was an S13 he was driving.

That thing is at 14psi and 350WHP, his was a stock turbo haha.

HP has a lot to do with acceleration. I understand gearing does too, but there's no gears that will make a 200HP 1300kg car hit 90MPH in 5 seconds. Maybe 90KMPH, because that would be a 0-100kmph of about 5.5-6.0 which sounds about right.

Wait a second. The truck said 0-90 in 5 seconds? NOT BAD? Your car is faster than almost any road car dude, not bad.

Gearing is one of the most important necessities of driving fast, especially if you're driving a manual. If you're a drifter, you gotta have really good precision timing on your shifting.

Man you guys are bringing back good memories with me and my brother, I think imma cry.
