it wasnt in the song select under the G in Genre select (at the top wen u first open the game) :edit: nor was it in ANY of dance 1 or 2 pages (yes i looked carefully)

btw there is a mirror of ffr at http://ffr.lightdarkness.net/FFR/
that has FFLBF still on it free (altho u dont get to log on )

and to make it reconize ur keystrokes you have to click on set speed in the settings

I have to agree with Aj on this one guys. Put new things there. Not older files. In fact I think certain songs should be moved out of secret and some new ones put in.

Lethal Injection and under should be replaced with songs of equal difficulty.

Also if they're not already songs should be amount of credits needed corresponds to the difficulty.

But that is just what I think.

I agree with AJ, that was the one song I'd play every so often. Now I don't have 70,000 credits so I probably won't even play occasionally now..

They should just add new songs, not move songs from public to secret..

Well I think that songs you've unlocked from the secret section should STAY unlocked once you've reached the required number of credits for a secret song, and not disappear if your credit amount happens to fall below the requirements. If you unlocked a song before and cannot access it for this reason (you lost credits or the credit requirement changed after you unlocked it), it's not very fair. In almost any video game, an unlock remains unlocked after reaching the requirements.
Is there any way to code this into FFR? As opposed to "credit xxx = song unlocked above this amount, stays locked below this amount".

Well I think that songs you've unlocked from the secret section should STAY unlocked once you've reached the required number of credits for a secret song, and not disappear if your credit amount happens to fall below the requirements. If you unlocked a song before and cannot access it for this reason (you lost credits or the credit requirement changed after you unlocked it), it's not very fair. In almost any video game, an unlock remains unlocked after reaching the requirements.

lol even though I AAA'd Pants before the credit req was changed, I don't even have the song anymore because I don't have enough credits now HAHA. Agreed.

What's the point in having credits then?

Incentive for credits isn't lost, you know. For people who don't participate in events that may provide huge credit boosts like tournaments or that gambling hall (a past thing though), and earn credits simply by playing songs, losing your hard-earnt rewards (e.g. by purchasing a song or donating credits to a friend) is counterintuitive.

And rushy, swap-fests aren't going to be a norm if that happens. I'm talking about your casual gamer who plays FFR regularly, but doesn't go out finding every which way to gain credits other than by playing a lot of songs.
In fact, if I could still technically apply your logic to the current situation: any credit limit can be overcome by swapping...why don't you tell people who've recently lost their secret songs to swap with everyone they know? Hmm, not everyone's going to go out of their way to do that...but swapping is besides the point:
I'm trying to address the fairness issue, not suggesting the many ways of obtaining credits to reach XXX number of credits.

This sounds like a good idea, but you can just borrow credits for unlocking songs.

Then it defeats the purpose of the secret genre. If everyone is just gonna give credits to their friends so they can get all the songs, they might as well be public.

I think the current system is a good one and it provides actual motivation for wanting a lot of credits (besides e-peen)
