With a blow up of "auto play" accusations in there.

Rubix is legit and anyone who thinks otherwise is an ignorant retard. End of story. Listening to keytaps and watching vidchat for 5 minutes is enough to prove that.

The argument stemmed from the fact that I maintained DP was AAA'able, but then it got offtrack with accusations rather than focusing on the question at hand.

I'm still a believer that Rubix is bs! I won't give up on you Rubix!
From my perspective, I guess I just never understood how you had made leaps and bounds in skill in such a short time. During my FFR "peak" where you and I were more-less battling for the top spots...was a time where I've never pushed myself harder to excel. Ever. I would literally stay up for DAYS playing FFR, non stop, just trying to push myself further and further. After a while, you just continued to improve at astronomical rates, and soon, I couldn't compete at all with you any longer, and you seemed to have achieved this with very little to no practice, like it was nothing. So I pretty much held a grudge with you until I stopped caring about the game. Now I could care less and think you're a cool guy. Just bs. xD |

MrRubix is so bs he did a Rubix Cube blindfolded; he did this by making 2 bots, one on each hand to solve the cube for him using a few algorhythms. Beware guys, beware.

DS: I'd say a few things, there -- my old posts in this thread got deleted but I explained the difference between "just trying really hard and playing a lot" and a sort of "active improvement approach." The latter is what can help you gain skill more quickly. One thing I've always done is pay attention to details that exist when I find something difficult and then work to rectify those weaknesses, be it sitting angle, keyboard type, hand angle, hand positions, pressures, placement of thumbs, movement of fingers, utilization of wrist/forearm/etc. Most people stick with what they know and practice it until it works. That's what limits progression and plateaus people. You have to take things a bit further than that and really try a variety of things on a variety of patterns before you figure out what really clicks.

I know all about self improvement, and practiced all of this in my training constantly, which again, is why I was baffled as to how your skill exploded twice as fast. My days of FFR are pretty much over now, so it doesn't particularly matter to me, but at the time I was pissed haha.

Haha, ah well, c'est la vie -- I'm pretty much done with this site at the moment anyways. There really isn't a whole lot left to play.
