Pretty much sums up my point. I can say "Pretty sure I can AAA disregard 1.2 (which IS actually possible)" but that's just retarded.

I don't see how AAAing death piano would be realistic. Yes, it's possible to AAA that by theory but being able to stay consistent and flawless throughout the whole file as a human is more then 99% impossible if not, ZERO.
If i see an AAA on death piano then i won't believe it for a second no matter how much 'science' was put into it. It's not realistic.

Also Rubix just likes to troll lol.
I mean, you could very well say that Dear Arch is "possible" to AAA which is actually a true statement - but everyone says it's impossible because "impossible" is referring to the current best players that are unable to even PASS it at the very least. Nobody will ever be able to go from 3000 bpm 8ths to 32nds - that's yet another fantasy, it doesn't matter if your username is MrRubix, it's not happening, it is physically impossible for anyone to do (not to mention the keys also need time to rise and fall), but if your computer is fast enough it can AAAA the file on autoplay (some videos miss on autoplay because the computer is not able to keep up entirely with the file).

Death Piano and Dear Arch aren't even comparable
I can AAA the first 2/3rds of DP without much issue, and I've AAA'd the gluts in the past -- hard part is just getting a clean run through those three

I have also AAA'd from the beginning all the way up to the end - but if you AAA'd the ending from the past, how was your best score ONLY 26-1-0-14?

I find it hilarious how almost every single Stepmania/FFR milestone over the past decade undergoes this same conversation.
Back in the day, I was the first one to AAA Bemaniruler's A, G2, Gravity, etc, and these were considered oh-so-impossible. Death Piano is tough but it's a lot easier when you actually practice the hard parts and stop wasting time with the AAA fodder. This level of song is actually the first tier that I've had to filesplit for.

Well Rubix, to be honest with you, I think (edit) Death Piano is pushing it a bit..
I mean yeah, Death Piano is certainly doable (splitting / mastering each part) but accomplishing an AAA by doing all of said split parts perfectly in one run seems a bit impossible for some people, ya know? Maybe someone will AAA Death Piano one day..? Even RATO? I think RATO's pushing it :P |

Death Piano is AAAable without question. There are maybe only two hard parts in the song and they're both much easier with practice (90% of the challenge is reading the damn things, for me)
RATO is ehhhhhhhh. I don't think that's going to happen for me anytime soon.

Quote:
IIRC, Bemaniruler's A is only around 190 bpm. You're talking 200 bpm here, with 16th minijack crap and polyrhythms (completely different from a simple 16th stream). It's like trying to compare Ageha [MA file] to MSWGO (my best on MSWGO is a 15g FC, I could "practice" the solo and AAA it but not AAA it in my real runs still). "Practicing the hard parts" does not automatically make you AAA a part of the file. And are you ****ing kidding me? READING is the hard part? It's DOING it that's hard >_>

Actually doing it isn't hard -- for me it's just a matter of coordination.
