I'm recommending my own personal music stash to you guys. If you want to open a thread, go for it. Or post a few songs and I'll see if I have anything that's like it.

OHN: I listen to a lot of Dubstep (mostly the opposite of what you're looking for)

But you might like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yX1UP...eature=related
Kromestar - Head Twiss
That's the real name for it :P

I tried to dabble in Dubstep too, I'm not amazing, but they're decent

You're Torrent?!?!
Thanks for the song

Ahahaha, niiiiiice.
I like the heavier, filthier, side of Dubstep like Bare Noize, Vykex, Dextron...and Biome and Chasing Shadows for the darker stuff

I actually like the lighter side of dubstep, like this song:
Distance - My Demons

Well, this is...somewhat Dubstep. It's a bit different, but it's so calm and relaxing

I kinda prefer DnB to Dubstep, but I like mixes of the two genres. I guess a fast paced dub. Shambala 2009 gives a good example. Take dubstep and pretty much double the speed, but keep the grimy with it.
Shambala 2008

One of my favorite songs from the whole mix
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bnt6I...next=1&index=3

Minus this I like drum and bass all the way. I would like to hear more stuff like this though...anyone?
John B - Trance and Bass

I would like to comment of some of the music on here for most of it fairly awesome but you lost me from the star with your comment against progressive metal.

If you like Cap'n Jazz, check out the Kinsella brothers' other groups (Joan of Arc, American Football, Owls, Owen, Make Believe, Ghosts and Vodka, etc.)

IMO thread title needs to be renamed to "Music Recommendation Thread."
