Oh no, that's not what I'm saying. It's not difficult to adjust the mp3 with a bit of 2 second breathing space. It's just a fairly significant inconvenience to a lot of people, as well as those who aren't familiar or have the audacity program.

@jimerax: Patashu claimed that he still has the files. Also, I sent the batch to Summerschool many months ago in case an event like this happened, and it did. Wonder if he still has it - I sure hope so.

I don't see more than 1/4th of the files in any given batch getting accepted anyways, so it SHOULDN'T be a big deal really. At least 1 person in each group knows audacity well enough to do that I am pretty sure.

Nah, I'm still here (in addition to making TS files). I'd have time for judging if there's room, though it seems like NSane already has this planned out a bit.

No need - I talked to Summerschool and he kindly provided me the files, which I'm currently in the midst of downloading right now. I'll distribute it to whoever wants to judge later.

If I know who is 100% sure on judging, I can actually just forward his message to you guys. Has it been definitively decided?

I think those are all the correct account names.

So is the batch from long ago going to get split up within the teams?

Yes, I think it's a good chance for testing this judgement system.

I've received a good question from woker.

He asked if changes made to files in the old batch can still be applied for this batch, or whether it has to be held till the next batch. What do you guys think?

To reduce complications, I'm leaning towards the latter. Any files that do get accepted but still needs a change can be sent in afterwards.

basically latter, but if the old one is good enough for being accepted you can just resend the .sm (if it's minor changes/fixes).

Next batch definitely. We can always accept them then replace them with the fixed version after. Plus if there is anything else that needs to be fixed, they can fix that as well before sending their updated version.

ok... thanks.

I already sent the 3 files I had in the previous batch to Nsane, but only Wolf by Night has changes.

So when you close this batch, ignore the files for Csikos Post and Greensleeves because they are the same files you already have.

Out of curiosity's sake, how many files are in that previous batch?
