Soar throat today dammit.

It was the day before spring break and I get sick. Out of ALL THE DAYS its before spring break. Well today is saturday and i still have the soar.

Can someone tell me how to cure this soar. I dont wanan be sick this week i got huge plans. Theres games, sleeping over, movies , sleeping.
See yaw im ganna take a cold bath, maby it will lover my temp. of 101 . I here from poeple that works.

lozenges work fine despite the taste.

And what the heck, we don't get spring break for another 3 weeks =/.

Where do you live? And is lozenges a pill or liquid cause pills will hurt the sh1t outta me. I took tolynal (spelled wrong) for my headaches, and omg it was the worst pain on me neck, it took me like 2 min to swallow it.

Washington State.

And it's not really either. It's something you chew on, like a hard candy, for about 10 minutes. Tastes like cough syrup though =p.

You best thing to do is to get Alka-selzter throat tablets. They dissolve in water, and will get rid of that sore throat. As for that fever, take some cold showers.

Cold bath then, or just stick your feet in a bucket of cold water, that works very good.

I like the buket of cold water! Once when i played football and someone was sick the couch would throw a bucket of freezing water at the person.

Kinda like that!

I never saw a couch throw a bucket of water, I bet it would look cool.

Hot cocoa, blazing hot tea and honey, that kind of thing.

Lozenges and vitamin C are nice. The vitamin C only helps your immune system, so if your throat is not sick-sore, it won't help.

I had a sore throat today, too. :{

It REALLY helps. This is from experience!

Try Earl Grey (good, common--Twinings makes it well) or some spice tea by Celestial Seasonings (Bengal Spice tastes REALLY good, is REALLY strong, and needs no extra flavor whatsoever).

I am not kidding, Hot tea is GREAT.

So is hot cocoa.
