Griefing is guaranteed on large-pop public servers like an FFR one would be, with ODI/FFYa/KBO trolls ****ting all over it

It's worth a shot though, just be sure to keep backups with Minecraft Save Manager or something.

I have taken plenty of precautions on my server though. Firstly, only people who are designated builders can even make/break blocks. Secondly, there are undo and backup functions built in. Third, we keep backup maps anyways. Fourth, we have ways of banning people who do mess things up, as well as quick, efficient methods for cleaning up.

Griefing is the least of your worries. I have yet to have encountered a griefer who successfully griefed our map and made it unable to be recovered because it's literally impossible.

You don't have any trolling or griefing on KBO? No one on there has ever done anything with the intent of eliciting anger in others? Maybe you don't, I haven't been there. This is partially a misunderstanding between us, and partially your misunderstanding of KBO.

Yeah, there are trolls on KBO. There are trolls everywhere. However, my initial response to your first post was because of the comparison. KBO trolls don't come close to ODI or FFya trolls. At all. KBO's goal is more or less to be like FFR, but with more lenience to rules and freedom and such.

The chances of KBO griefing the server doesn't even come close to the chance that someone on ODI or FFya would. In fact, the least likely representative of a community to grief an FFR server would be KBO, as we not only have a very closed community as of now, but we have already developed an attachment for this game ourselves.

Generally though, KBO tries its hardest to not be an FFya or ODI, so let's not group them together kthx.
