I love the DMR. I don't see much of a difference between the DMR and the battle rifle other then the battle rifle having a burst of three shots. They serve the same practical purpose but uses less bullets =/

BR was great for almost everything. DMR is only great for SWAT imo. It's a pretty sucky weapon.

Thank god, I was tired of seeing Lt. Colonel's with Onyx all over their campaign commendations. But I am going to rub it in to those on my friends list that did that.

For snipers H2 didn't have a recoil actually.. If it did the recoil was so small it wasn't even noticeable.
The difference in weapons from H2 to Reach is incredible actually. Yes, recoil does take place in this but whatever.. Going from a BR that takes a 4 shot kill with a consistant flow of bullets to he DMRs 5 shot is pretty drastic IMO
You're actually better off using the Magnum. It's a 5 shot just as the DMR but shoots faster and more like the Magnum in the previous games when it comes to aiming.
Pretty much Reach took a nose dive to a lot of people. Then some love it. I can't say I like the change but for some its better.
I was an H2 and H3 gamer for sure. Reach doesn't suit me cause I don't like the game play with abilities and Change up in weapons.

Trust me I played my fair share of H3.. Host was a huge problem I do agree. With the Multi-player option it was hard to get 4 shots in anything that has a foreign host. (I got my 50 in snipes and played a lot in it) So I know the problem with Host.. Host > Skill. When you play Lan for tourneys though 4 shots are consistent and I can't actually see myself playing in any Reach tourneys. I think my last was when I played a tourney for Reach.

I do Agree with the ammo situation. The range on the matter could go either way. Most of Halo combat situations without a sniper are mostly mid-range or up-close. So if you pop your shots off correctly you win 8/10 times.

I agree with the Skill ranks but the reason they took them out was for the boosting. Although, that hasn't stopped anyone as you know.

I'd also like to add that the Beatdown is incredibly.. Ignorant IMO.. In every Halo the 3 shot beatdown was always a kill with BR/magnum. Its not a major issue for me because the only time I would Beatdown is if I ran out of ammo and I was sure I could get the kill. With reach 3 shots still takes 2 beat downs and if I'm not mistaken so does 4 shots. (Has happened to me.. Not sure if it was Bungie just screwing me over.)

Eh this one was okay. He has made some pretty bad ones before too like Vegeta Has Something to Say or Shadow of the Awesome. Both were pretty awful.
