It does have nostrils on the front of its snout, just can't see em, has no mouth however xD

Enviroment: 5/10 Pokemon enviroment ressemblane: 7/10 Dragonite ressemblance: 7/10 Snake/dragon texture: 9/10 I really, really like your material usage here. As for the enviroment it doesn't seem cavelike enough for me, then again that's how stuff looks in Pokemón so I can't really pull you down for it. As seen on your first drafts, before FOVd, it was very, very polygonal. Now that doesn't matter much since you obviously planned to FOV it (Depth in 3DS I guess). I still think the best part is the eyes. All in all it's a 2/10. Just kidding don't kill me ![]() K I can't wait for a reply anymore DS but I'll catch you when I get home bb

It's not a Dragonite lol.
I agree with those figures, I spent maybe 10 minutes making the cave itself, but the image you saw where it was very rough, was just because the material I had on it didn't render. It's much better when it actually looks like ice. I just spent 2 hours rendering the wrong viewport rofl, so here's a cave wall. ![]() K rendering the right one now, this should be the final render, or close to it.

Good shape, wrong thickness radial? Not visible on the front, only the back one though.. They start out fat, I think it would be sharper/hotter with the mid one a lil longer and just abit thinner on the outer edge

what's up with the neck, the white part of the texture looks like it's misplaced with the head tilted like that.
I'm still not crazy about the texture you used, and the gloss could be set a bit lower, but it's starting to look more like a dragonair now. ![]()

The texture on its neck only looks weird cause the ball isn't there, so that doesn't matter.
Spit...I think you're just really stubborn about how you think pokemon should be represented xD I at least wanted a good deal of realism in this piece, and the head fluffy feather things just aren't cutting it for me, deleted. I'll make actual feathers.

I dunno if you've even edited them but I liked the first eyes better, they fooled me to believe they looked like cut emeralds or something copper tinted. I realize of course that would be dumb but sorta liked it better than the flawless but that's one of my opinions I can't really defend much art-wise. Or pokemon wise. I agree with the wings throwing me off, I can't put my finger on what of them don't fit in but I guess it's the realistic material usage compared with the shape and stuff on the wings yet I can't say what could be done to fix them.
Thought about "real" feathers, like from a big ass bird.. Perhaps take some inspiration from a Hawks' wings? edit nice pic ![]()

I love it, besides one thing:
The skin... It looks really... not exactly rough, but almost toad-like, in the way it's got a few too many bumps, but it's not rough... I believe that the blue specks on the skin makes it look that way. It feels kind of out-of-place, but obviously if it's one of your design choices, I definitely won't tell you that you can't use it. Otherwise, the head, feather-ears, blue spheres (ballz), and the underside of it's body look amazing - those all fit perfectly.

Also, since this is a ice pokemon, the regular dragon reference are in fact crocodiles and allis but I guess for this one, snake seems far more logical. Personally I love the skin, I can see you would expect a flatter skin since that's cleaner but if DS would render out a flat image I think you'd go back on your statement ![]()
