I read somewhere that there's life like 27 light years away from us, but we have no way of contacting it. Scientists are almost positive.

If some aliens were intelligent enough to make it all the way across the universe and to our planet, they clearly knew there was life here because it isn't that common to just come across a planet with life. If they knew we were here they wouldn't come barging in with a few little ships with lights on them parading around and giving off their locations if they were just observing.

why... why even TRY to bring logic/rationalization into a thread about this on FFR?
![]() even if aliens were coming to our planet in whatever way they are. who's to say what the hell they were thinking? your thought process on the issue is completely irrelevant since the entity you are trying to argue for/against is of a completely different physiology. they may not yet know how our brains function or how we think. for all we know, we have the intelligence of a dog on their planet. ...this thread really warrants no further discussion due to its current direction. the thread title is all that is really needed to answer in here. this is Chit Chat people... not Critical Thinking. |

the average iq in this thread is so f*cking low that the average distance to the surface of the earth is actually larger than the earth's radius
the average iq in this thread is so f*cking low that it is even lower than the local minimum of f(x) = -1/x^2 the average iq in this thread is so f*cking low that if an alien planet were used as the reference point and the direction pointing towards earth was the negative direction on the axis, we'd be about 20,000 light-years past earth the average iq in this thread is so f*cking low that some people actually think aliens will actually reach earth

I think intelligent life exists out there, and I do think that it's possible for alien UFO's to have actually appeared here. It's possible that a civilization out there is several billion years ahead of us in technology. I can easily imagine that they've sent UFO's here. It doesn't even matter if we see it because we literally can't do anything about it.
Chances are that the potential ships are operated via AI, so I highly doubt that they're here in-person. If you look at us, we're investing tons of money into searching for extraterrestrial life. They could easily have done the same, billions of years ahead of us. |
