what's your average? Style of bowling? High game? High series? What do you usually bowl on, house pattern or something harder?

my average in my saturday league is 198, I've been improving lately, been consistently shooting in the 200's the past month. I'm a full roller

As soon as I saw this thread in the nice sidebar I knew that you made it xD I haven't consistently bowled, but I've enjoyed myself a few times. I'm lucky if I get to 100, though ;D

I let myself go for about a year. I came back to it, I'm decent. The lanes we bowl on are terrible. They're either too oily or dry. So I'm either hitting the pocket light or Brooklyn. I hook it.

PS AVG. right now is in the 150's. I have had knee problems lately and my game has been off. I've bowled a 300 during practice. I have the score sheet printed and framed on my wall.
Been to state manymany times.

That's sick Saur, I've never gotten more than 6 strikes to start a game (happened today in my second game. Left a stone 9 in the 7th and everyone gasped lol). Funny cause I ended my third game with 7 strikes, if only I could transfer that to the second

Average: 192
Throw: (Lefty) cross lane hook.
Lanes (usually): House. It's a cheap pattern :/
High Game: 256
Lucky you, I usually get A 200-220 second game and 180-ish for the others. If a fourth game, it's usually 170 by then.

Nice Saur! Hopefully you'll heal and return to your glory.

Oh dude. Choking is a common thing to do. It was practice to I wasn't worried one bit. I just need to learn to not go back to old habits I used to have. I always use to turn my body sideways and throw my hand over the ball. I'd end up having a terrible game, getting pissed and just leaving.

Edit: Mike, same here. I usually do amazing the first two games, then the last one I'm just like gone.

nice I'm lefty also. My high game is 258 (probably going to break that any week now). I bowl on patterns that vary weekly. I'm in a saturday league that is sometimes house pattern and other times it's "carrydown from Friday night with more oil slapped on" or better known as "crap".

I'm in a sunday league that is competitive that travels around the state that I bowled in today, it happened to be at my home bowling alley Lanes and Games the pattern was weird, pretty wet everywhere. You had to be very accurate with your mark, miss outside it wouldn't come back, miss inside and it would go down the middle. I wouldn't say it was a sportspattern but it was no house shot. Today I played on the 4th board and rolled it about 14 mph, worked well. 20 strikes in 3 games. But I missed a few spares. Only made 8. Had like 6 open frames. A couple splits, two single pin misses . and two multipin non conversions.

I started the day with a 167 (lolol) And then a 226, 246. And I bowled three more practice games that were 220's and two 210's.

I've definitely enjoyed meeting people through bowling more than anything. I made my best friends at the bowling alley. No one from my school bowls. It's where I feel at home. It's nice.

I bowled for years, was on a team for a few of those years. I think my average was like 180.. nothing spectacular lol. I enjoyed it though. It's really something I would like to do more, I just can't seem to make time.

I'm the summer I bowl in a pro shop league. We have different PBA patterns every week. It's so fun. My average differs about 7pins between school bowling and pro shop.

Yes I have hit 300 3 times now. I've been bowling since i was 6 years old and my cousin and I were in high school leagues together. Joined other leagues after we graduated averagin off at first or second. xD

My schools team is starting soon. I'm only #3 on the team with my stats :/ Damn younger kids are getting ridiculously better. I hope to top my score as well soon. Last Tuesday was the last time I bowled: 188-223-204 and it was 5 games for 7 so I said what the hell: 209-183-154(oops...)-175-199.

what sucked most about my potential perfect game ending in the 7th was that it was a great shot, it was just one of those bad breaks at the worst time. But I didn't let it get to me. I made the spare and moved on. I learned that kind of mental discipline from bowling

My average is around 190-200 when I bother trying. Don't got my own ball and can't hook conventionally so I just bowl with my middle and ring finger to induce hook. Other then that, I just bowl what ever the place has down, but its one of those too oily or too dry things, its annoying. I haven't bowled in the longest time tho, eczema on my right hand makes it really difficult to bowl.

I bowl the same way and am the say way towards if the lane has too much or too little oil.
