Even though the site has lost it's paid management, there are still countless people here who would gladly work on the site for free, me being one of them. This has been discussed in the staff forum for some time now, and we really want to take the initiative, we just need power reallocation among the staff who are still willing. Synth won't have to sell his precious site if he simply hands the control over to its own community...I have full faith that we could make this site shine again if we had the ability to access what we needed to.

I've been a member WAY too long just to see this site go. Sure, I found it funny to crack jokes about how dead FFR is etc, but now that I knew about the inside story, things are different. And after reading through this thread, and seeing that people had their memories throughout their FFR journeys, it reminded me that I also have my collection of awesome things that came only from here. Like many, it was my first forum, and I really wouldn't want to see this place go away.

ffr: dudes who've been in the community for ages and a select few who play the game

odi: post-massive ffr ban group just as a social forum, stepmania died there

bluexoon: very stepmania active, but very small community

otaku's dream: stepmanier and shenanigans

kbo: hype has dyed down from this game till the full version is out, solo rulz etc.

smo: officially dead

ddrplace: officially dead

can't say i'm surprised, honestly. i don't even post frequently anymore and i could tell the site took a nose dive when the administration stopped caring and i stopped being banned regularly. really though, that blows. it's not like synthlight has ever been the most forward person on the planet. it's interesting how little he cares about having his reputation ruined. the dude's an evasive joke, enough said.

It's true. Also, guys stop being negative. I'm giving every second of my free time to FFR, etc. As long as me and LD are around, this place should be fine for a while.

This should have never been posted in Chit-Chat due to the majority of the posters being idiotic, retarded, or just distasteful. Lock the thread, make a sticky or announcement concerning the state of FFR.

And if you have an opnion based on what Tass wrote, go write a comment on -his- page.
