there is a character in the street fighter series called skullomania. i couldn't remember his name for a while so i just decided to create "freakomania" instead. when i registered the username at a website, there was a 10-letter max limit, so i just omitted the 'a' and stuck with this username. the end

When my brother started accusing me of copying him I changed it to s1ay3r.

Actually, since then I've changed it again to HOMER-16. But not on this site.

My username comes from Fullmetal Alchemist. One of the characters called another character "Xingy guy", so I signed up as xingyguy just for the heck of it.

It remains my alias to this day.

So Gilly is my nickname. Added G on the end because I forgot my password and the email I used for Gilly, and because it's the initial of my last name.

My username came to be about 5 years ago when my friend persuaded me to join Runescape. When it came time to sign up for Runescape I had an issue of Shonen Jump in my hand so, I used shonen and added the 7 for luck and I have kept the same username since then.

When I made this account I was sitting next to one of my best friends. Her name was Melody and she commented on the game that she was playing which just happened to be The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. So I said what the hell and named it that.

EDIT: Oh, and the 99 came from me having something resembling a mini-seizure and accidentally pressing 9 twice O.o

Xealix. My friends were playing halo so i was like hmm im just make up some name and along came xealix. I hate halo that was the only good thing that came of it. Now i mostly use it for itg and it is my gamer tag on xbox. Xeal fits on the itg score board.
