By the way, HDMI and S-Video are pretty much the only options you have, inojokeyou.

I don't know what you want us to tell you. If your Acer doesn't have those ports, then you're not going to be able to connect your laptop to your TV.

Well thank you. Im trying as hard as i can so that i can keep everyone on subject.

what i need is a video/audio cable (red,white,yellow)composite, with the other end being a usb.

That's a capturing device, it's only an input not an output.

At first I was assuming that she wants to go from TV to laptop. My link will work if that's the case. I then thought she wanted laptop to TV. This device will not work for that.

That's not the device you're looking for. You want to go from laptop to TV, right? That device will capture your TV output to your laptop.

It's only an input device. It doesn't do output, which is what you're looking for.

well i have another laptop, its currently being refurbished in Texas. It has HDMI. Its just this computers problem.
