My first experience with StepMania, help!

Ok, I admit it, I've never played SM seriously. I played it abit a year back but there was so many good norwegians and none on FFR so I just went to FFR instead.

Well, I tried it again today

C620

So, 6 greats. I got them all on the ending trills, stupid jack on the end aswell. I can't do trills to save my LIFE on SM, but on FFR they're my favorite pattern, after jacks. Which I also can't do on SM, obviously.

I'm just wondering where this would place me on SM on a scale from 1-10..

Also, if I didn't get the greats, would this be an AAA? Can I get AAA rating even if I have greats?

uhm from 1-10 and 1 being the best i'd say 15

Hey Mythix, if you have Vista, move your Stepmania folder to another location eg. Documents. That way, it takes normal-sized screenshots and actually saves them. =3

If you have UAC on the SS and configs are saved outside the sm folder, turn off UAC and you're perfectly fine =)
By means of skill level, I'd say you can improve fast, but honestly that score isn't very good. you should be able to improve it to 70 perfects on some tries =)

I know it's hard to play SM after you're used to FFR, but you're good enough on FFR to improve that score by tons.

We'll see, I'm quite comfortable with my speedmod now though, 650.. I'll be playing SM today and we'll see if I can shove it down to 70~

I can't enter option, it always skip that step.... I've reinstalled 50 times and options just doesn't come up.. It does on my stationary though..
