My absolute favorite artist is DJ Sharpnel, and of course I'm going to get hate from this because they're insanely popular. That's how it works, if you get a lot of love, you get a lot of hate. I understand why people don't like them, but I ****ing adore this music, and I've heard a lot of music, it's not about that. If you want to question my taste, I don't mind, go nuts.

Not really, it helps you get a feel, and then make better music because you'll find little mistakes and probably say to yourself 'hey let's not do that again'.

sharpnel doesnt get negative comments because he's popular he gets negative comments because most everything he releases is the same thing with different anime samples. yes he does have some awesome songs but not enough to warrant a "best artist" from a lot of people.

All these people who mentioned artists barely anyone knows about, and no one questioning their taste, why is this? No one knows anything about them, so they aren't very critical, the more well-known artists however get more emotion deposited into them. There's nothing to prove here, that's just how it works really.

I've listened to Sharpnel's songs so many times, I know everything about them, so none of them sound the same to me. I actually think anyone who says "all their music sounds the same" (no matter what artist), I think they're not listening well enough... unless the artist really sucks that badly. DJ Sharpnel, and any other artist, have a specific sound... that's what makes people like their music, specifically.

I'm not saying DJ Sharpnel is the best, I'm saying he's my favorite, and who are you to say DJ Sharpnel isn't as good as soooooooooooooooooo many other artists? Is that according to the mainstream or just your own opinion? I don't care if all of MySpace hates Sharpnel, and I don't care if you have a PHD in the Understanding of Musical Talent and Quality; if I like DJ Sharpnel, then that means DJ Sharpnel made something that someone thinks is good, and he shouldn't have to change because other people like other things.
