It's not quite as brutal as he makes it sound. She was essentially hooked on her ex, who after sleeping with another girl and getting dumped, wants her back. Q could tell that she was considering and so he consented to a breakup. That's what I understood.

She said "Yeah, ok. Only if you don't get hurt by it."

I didn't tell Alain that she'd been lying to me about nothing being wrong for nearly a week now. (I delay most of my FFR stories a few weeks).

Honestly, I sympathize with her a lot more than myself. After all, I suggested our break up. She took up the offer, knowing that it could leave me hurt.

Thanks for the support, guys. Like Alain said, it still isn't as big as you're making it seem to be. Heartbreak sucks, yes, but that's life. Besides, Cervantes has taught me how to deal with it. I've summarized his two most famous books into two sentences to help clarify them more. Good little aphorism.
