I tried it at a demo location, was really unimpressed.
Beatmania is more fun and has better music. And I actually have Beatmania 10-14th. |

We had the demo in at work. It's not really my music genre (I'll stick to Rock Band kthx) but the gameplay itself is quite fun. I wish it was able to go up to expert on the demo because I want to give that a shot.

Played a demo at a store in the mall on the hardest difficulty.
Seems like most people with a brain could master it within hours. It's like playing a 120 dollar version of Bop It. Seriously. It's almost an insult to rhythm gaming.

That one actually looks like tons of fun. I suddenly have more interest. But then again it's part of the GH franchise, so that's probably one of like 2 songs that require any effort in the game.

The game was made mostly casual for a reason. From what I can see, that's been done for most western releases of any rhythm game. That being said, there are the few tracks which will require some effort. Being able to perfect the game is what caters to more serious players. Score optimization can be difficult (up until someone figures out the optimal path for each song :P).

Got the game today.
Aside from having to unlock fucen everything, and you're forced to play on medium for at least one song, if not 2 or 3 if you suck, it's really, really good. |

Yea i just now played it a bestbuy. It's very fun, i played 3 songs on easy and i was very happy about the gameplay. My only thing i would get pissed about is the button slips.lol When i get the game i will cut some skateboard grip tape and place them on the buttons for better scratching ability.
