macmaxi: a cdtitle is a little icon with transparent background that identifies the author of a given stepfile. it's generally between 80 and 160 pixels in lenght and between 30 and 50 pixels in height. most people use just straight text with some stroke, or simple logos. this image will appear on the up-left corner of stepmania banners in the game, which are 256x80 pixels. it must be visible on any banner: white or black dominance, as well as all the other colors you can come across, if you did it right, it will still be clearly visible. it's usually best to not go outside the boundary of 100 pixels in lenght and 40 in height.
