FMO+FGO Event - Page 2

We have enough of them, we need to get some more 6-9's in game first. I mean go through the last month and how many of the files are 10-13s? How many are really borderline 10's that got rated 9?

Personally I wanna see some more running-men and less jumpstream ridden files. And it isn't cause I Index that I say that, it's still by far one of the most challenging patterns.

We need to start fixing the genre song orders to, cause I know that rock has a few misplaced songs along with arcade and I think Misc.

Also with all the hacked scores why bother? We need to hop on that to.
So no, I don't think I'm ready for more FGO's or FMO or even VC's. I personally wanna see some 4-9's with some GOOD music.

Arcade has no misplaced songs. Songs like Mario Minor/Big Blue belong there because there are video game remixes. Misc has no misplaced songs, more like songs that NEED to be placed in there.

Also, yeah, we need songs in the range of 8 and lower.

FFR needs more ratio of good files to bad. And maybe a better judging system etc.

Regarding the arcade section, the criteria for an arcade song is a bit grey. The section includes video game remixes, but also songs that sound like they came from a video game but with no verification that they actually did. Also, there's an increasing amount of songs coming from less recognizable games such as Touhou. Finally, many songs that came from rhythm games are also put into this section purely for the sake that they came from a game, but it's better off putting these songs into their true respective genres according to how the song sounds. All in all, there's too large of a criteria for songs to go into this category.
Miscellaneous genre is, IMO, a "garbage bin" section, and I think this should eventually go. Ideally, songs in this section should go into their actual respective genres - new sections should be made to accomodate for the less common song genres.

It's mostly a matter of the quality of submitted files.

btw FMO/FGO event is quite trite now, it should be new artist event or something if we do something new.
