Halo 2 rocks so much.

However, it might suck if you don't have live. i've never played campaign, only live.

Halo 2 campaign...is only if u want (or care for) the plot. It also serves as a way to teach you how to *play* the game with the different situations u get yourself into...Halo and Halo 2 are all about...multiplayer. Like the guy said above...LIVE is where its at. Find some friends with an xbox and have a halo party. I did a 4 room, 16 player battle. Halo 2 became godlike cuz u have those who are experts at the game and those who are rookies. When u do a 8vs8 team battle or a team battle with 4 teams and 16 folks. Halo never gets boring. Never...ever...ever....ever...(*100) until Halo 3 comes out.

Halo 1 and 2 were crappy games with hardly any innovation and poor storylines.

I think it's the best game i'm played since halo and i don't have live but i could tell it would be more fun!

The problem: I thought Halo would work as a gateway for more people to get into FPS games and eventually into games such as Return to Castle Wolfenstein, or Half-Life, or, hey, maybe even Postal 2.

But it hasn't.
