Honestly Stepmania doesn't help much when it comes to FFR. The timings are WAY different from one another. It's not some magical formula.

I don't like how most if not all FFR files are offsync because the gap is off. Especially in these new files. It's starting to piss me off.

The timing is WAY more strict, and for someone who's never really taken the time to get used to that level of strictness never really gets the hang controlling their fingers :/... at least i never did. i always used FFR's loose ass timing to my advantage by mashing trills i couldn't keep up with and other similar things that you just cant do in SM.

higher scroll speeds on SM make it a joke to say FFR is hard to read. after playing on C800 for a couple hours i came back to FFR and just for ****s and giggles played I Hate The 80's and i was actually able to read every single arrow in that spew burst right in the beginning. i was just like holy fuc... now if only i had the speed to hit it.

it may not be a 'magical formula' but it damn well helps if you use it to help you where you're weak on FFR.

i couldn't do the left handed heavy stream at the end of Gradeus for the life of me just yesterday... 5 clean speaks for itself on a 1500 note long song.

First off, I would have to endure 4 minutes of 16th stream, then hope to AAA the 32nd wall and if I don't I have to do another 4 minutes of 16th stream again and I'll go into DossaRage

It's better if I try supping Rubix's RATO or something

And long dj sharpnel songs just tend to irritate me altogether since they're usually the same thing for most of the song

I agree. The only part I like of sweetz is when the nice melodic voice comes in somewhere near the middle of the song. all the other parts are blah
